  3. RCHS Graduation Requirements

  4. University of California (UC) /California State University (CSU) SUBJECT AREA REQUIREMENTSA-G List • All A-G approved classes are at the college preparatory level, or above. • All grades in A-G classes must be a C-, or above to meet elgibility criteria.

  5. The 23 Campus of the California State University System (CSU)

CSU Eligibility • Completion of a minimum of 15 a-g courses with a grade of C- or above • Eligibility GPA is calculated using grades 10 -12 grades, HOWEVER all 9th grade a-g classes must be reported and have received a grade of C- or better • SAT or ACT if student’s GPA is below a 3.0 or if s/he is applying to an impacted campus - Can combine best reading and math scores from multiple sittings of SAT; may combine best subscores from multiple ACT tests to calculate a best composite

UC Eligibility • Completion of a minimum of 15 a-g courses with a grade of C- or above • Eligibility GPA is calculated using grades 10 -12 grades, HOWEVER all 9th grade a-g classes must be reported and have received a grade of C- or better • SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT plus Writing is required • UC uses the highest combined score from a single setting of the ACT plus Writing or the SAT Reasoning Test. Some campuses may recommend SAT Subject Tests for specific majors.

You will find an electronic copy of the Cougar Tracks guide which has information regarding graduation requirements/4 year planning/university entrance requirements. www.cccco.edu – a website dedicated to the 112 community/junior colleges in California. With a wide range of educational offerings, the colleges provide workforce training, basic courses in English and math, certificate and degree programs and preparation for transfer to four-year institutions. www.collegeboard.org – this site provides information on all colleges. You will be able to search for information on any college or university on this site, and learn about/prepare for the SAT. www.universityofcalifornia.edu– this site provides information including admissions, program offerings & facilities, for any of the 10 UC campus locations. www.csumentor.org - this site provides an electronic planning guide for students to keep them on track for meeting college entrance requirements, students can explore different CSU campuses, learn about financial aid, and even apply to college on-line. www.calstate.edu – this site provides information including admissions, program offerings & facilities, for any of the 23 CSU campus locations. www.santarosa.edu - this site provides information including admissions, program offerings & facilities for Santa Rosa Junior College. For Career resources, search under “Career Technical” colleges, training, certificates, etc

Athletic Packets Athletic Packets must be turned in to Yvonne Murray (RCHS Front Office) after August 1st, 2013.  Athletes will be issued an athletic clearance within 24 hours.  Athletes can't try out or practice until they have given an athletic clearance to the coach of the team for which they are trying out. If you are unable to schedule an appointment with your regular physician, here are some local options.
