Quick Start Guide to Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) for USAR Nurses 2-step Registration for USAR MNS/MNC Access: Register for a USAR MNS account at the AMEDDC&S MNS website at: http://www.nursingskills.com/usarmymedicaldeptcenterschool-txfortsamhouston 2. Send an email to: usarmy.jbsa.medcom.mbx.amedd-virtual-library@mail.milto request a USAR MNC username/password. MNS Contact AMEDDC&S MNS Administrator @ usarmy.jbsa.medcom.mbx.amedd-virtual-library@mail.mil

Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access Once you have REGISTERED and received login username and password information from usarmy.jbsa.medcom.mbx.amedd-virtual-library@mail.mil: Enter http://www.nursingconsult.com into your browser. Click on the Login/Register link (upper right-hand corner of the Nursing Consult page) to obtain the dialog box if it does not automatically appear. When the dialog box appears enter the Username & Password provided. Both are case-sensitive. Example: Username: USAMCMNC-12345 Password: Nightingale Click Submit

4. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access The "Manage My Profile" Identification & Professional Information Form will display. Enter the requested information Click Accept/Finish on the bottom of the page. Your account is created.

5. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access Nursing Consult Home page displays. CE offerings are found in Clinical Updates CE OR by navigating to the Reference/Clinical Updates CE Select “see more” to obtain full listing

6. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access Select, review and complete the desired offering. When ready to take test, select GO TO TEST. A second window will appear for you to log onto the testing site. FIRST TIME you access the site you will need to create a profile by selecting “click here to create….” In future you will just log on

7. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access Complete requested information From the list that appears, select the test you want to take. Review General Instructions page and click on Take Test

8. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access • Complete the test, and click Submit Test at header or end of test • Test results and test summary will be displayed. You may retake the test if needed. XXXXXXXXXXXX

9. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access Scroll to the content and click on Eval in order to complete the CE process. Complete the Evaluation Tool Personal Page will now show you fully completed. Click on the Content Clinical Updates Link to obtain your certificate.

10. Mosby’s Nursing Consult (MNC) USAR Access • Pop Up window will appear for you to enter/confirm your licensing information • Make any changes needed or just click on Update your License Information. • Certificate of Completion will appear.
