What is a noun? • A noun is person, place, or thing • PEOPLE: teacher, student, Erica, Thomas, etc… • Answers the question of WHO? • PLACES: school, home, North Carolina, Earth, etc… • Answers the question of WHERE? • THINGS: desks, pencil, television, computer, etc… • Answer the questions of WHAT?
