ECTAC Mission • The mission of the East Coast Technical Assistance Center (ECTAC) is to provide educational consultation services that assist local school districts and high poverty schools in their efforts to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education.

ECTAC Parent Involvement Initiatives In 1995, The East Coast Technical Assistance Center (ECTAC) created a regional Parent Involvement Team for the purpose of building the capacity of district and school-based Title I personnel with duties and responsibilities for implementing the statutory requirements of NCLB Title I, Part A, Section 1118.  PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT.

Annual Family Involvement Conference Goals To assist participants in: • Understanding Florida statewide testing. • Helping children develop effective study habits and study skills. • Increasing awareness of positive and negative influences on  children. • Learning effective ideas that can be used to reinforce the skills taught in the classroom. • Learning effective behavior management skills. • Understanding how families can be a positive influence in a child's life. • Recognizing that we all make a difference in each other's lives!
