  1. Necklace By: Erin Hunt Produced by Andrew Barker and Becky Lerminiaux

  2. The boy went to the necklace store to buy a necklace for his mother on her birthday. He wanted it to be special for her.

  3. He looks for 3 different types of minerals to put into the necklace. They are topaz, diamond, and fluorite.

  4. After he looked around for awhile he decided he wanted a purple diamond. He wanted to get his mother that one because her favorite color was purple, it had the luster, and was a very hard mineral so it would not break very easily.

  5. He couldn’t find the purple diamondthat he wanted to get his mom. They were all out of it and he had to pick a new mineral for the necklace.

  6. He decided to buy a blue diamond necklace in the end. It took three to five days to make. When he gave it to his mom, she loved it and they were both happy!
