  2. INTRODUCCIÓN 1,2 La estructura química de las cefalosporinas deriva del ácido-7-cefalosporánico igual que la penicilina.

  3. CEFALOTINA • Cefalosporina de 1ª generación. • Primera cefalosporina comercializada. • No se absorbe bien por vía oral, se usa IV. • Es la cefalosporina más insensible al ataque de la betalactamasa estafilocócica.

  4. USOSTERAPÉUTICOS2 Buena actividad contra las bacterias gram-positivas Actividad moderada contra bacterias gram negativas . No tiene actividad contra los Enterococos

  5. MECANISMO DE ACCIÓN

  6. POSOLOGÍA1,3 La dosis máxima es de 10 a 12 g/día.
