  4. Major Grievances • Low Wages • Long Hours • Unsafe conditions • Child Labor • Company Towns • Loss of autonomy

  5. Organized Labor • Workers organized into Unions to fight for workplace rights • Collective Bargaining • Higher wages and less hours • End to child labor • Greater voice in the workplace • Mixed Success
