  3. Organize your research • Make categories of research findings • Do more research to supplement your findings

  4. Start Writing! • Start with an introductory paragraph – revisit your topic and lay out how your paper is organized. • Follow the formula: • Introduce the category  synthesize the findings, compare and contrast  • Summarize the category • Continue!

  5. Write well • Proofread! • It may take more than one draft • Proofread! • Keep your reference list currant AS you write • Proofread! • Be sure to cite correctly
