Shelter In Place

What is Sheltering In Place?

For the public-

It means that they stay inside their home, business,

school, or nearest available building.

They are being asked to stay inside because of an accidental release

of toxic chemicals where the air quality outside may be hazardous.

The hazards of evacuation may be greater than just staying in place.
