Exciting Start to the School Year: Curriculum Night & Classroom Updates

Welcome to another great week in our classroom! We completed our initial assessments, launched our math workshop, and introduced mentor sentences. Mrs. King collaborated with our class on a math exemplar, while Mrs. Frega discussed Champion behavior. We held our first fire drill and implemented a new ticket reward system—students are eager to earn tickets! Please remember to sign your child's agenda every night to track homework and progress. Join us for Curriculum Night on Aug. 18 (K-2) and Aug. 19 (3-5) to learn more about our year ahead.

  2. A Message from Mrs. Tidwell Another great week in the books! We completed some of our beginning of the year assessments, started math workshop and center rotation, and introduced mentor sentences. Mrs. King came and worked on a math exemplar with our class, Mrs. Frega, the AP, came to discuss Champion behavior, and we even had a fire drill!!! We’ve been busy! I also introduced my ticket reward system and the kids worked REALLY hard at earning those tickets!  We are trying to “find our groove” and settle into a routine. I really appreciate your patience as we work out our new procedures. Please make sure you are signing your student’s agenda EVERY night. This gives you an opportunity to see what homework your child has, check it for completion, and discuss any problems. I can’t wait to meet with you at Curriculum Night and share our upcoming year! I look forward to answering any questions you have. Upcoming Events Curriculum Night Aug. 18 (K-2)Aug. 19 (3-5) Outdoor Movie Night by PTA Aug. 22 Math and Language Arts quiz EVERY Friday.
