  1. Do Now! • Take out your SMP organizer from yesterday • Create 5-word Sentences for SMP’s starting with, “I can…” • Example for SMP 1 • SMP1: Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. • “I can solve problems without giving up.” • Be prepared to share your sentences!

  3. SMP Posters • Guidelines to help us be SUCCESSFUL in math class • Are going to be posted on the walls • Take a look at them today to help with Gallery Walk

  4. Gallery Walk • There are a total of 6 stations (A-F) • Stations have student work on them answering a math problem • In groups you will walk around to every station and observe the student work • OBJECTIVE: each group will leave a card describing which SMP is illustrated. • You may view the previous cards posted • Catch: once a station has 3 of the same SMP your group must use a different standard
