  3. DOCUMENTS • Passport • Parental Consent Form • European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) • Medical Requirements – Conditions • Medication – Supplied

  4. PARENTAL CONSENT FORM • Gives permission for student to partake in all activities associated with the Ski Trip • Gives authority to the leaders of the trip • Authorises, directs, and appoints the leaders to act as the Parent’s/Guardian’s Attorney in relation to giving consent to any/all forms of surgical/medical treatment.

  5. Code of Behaviour • The school code of behaviour extends to all extra-curricular school activities and school tours • Note in particular that the consumption of alcohol is strictly forbidden • The legal age for the consumption of alcohol in Italy is 18 years (2013) • No student irrespective of age has permission to consume alcohol on this trip.

  6. Itinerary • Sunday 16th February Depart Dublin on flight EI 436 (Terminal 2) • Flight to Milan Malpensa Airport • Arrive 19.40 • Transfer by Coach to Lavaroneapprox 4-5 hours • Check in and bed

  7. Day 2 – Day 6 • Breakfast • Fit for boots and skis / snowboard • Ski / snowboarding lessons – 2 hours • Lunch • Ski / snowboarding lessons (Days 1 & 2) • Evening meal & activity

  10. Rooming Arrangements • 3/4 students per room • Ensuite • TV • Thoroughly inspect rooms on arrival. • Report anything not working or broken • Leave nothing valuable in rooms • Keep rooms tidy

  11. MEALS • Buffet breakfast • Meal on slopes cost €7 approximately for pasta type meal and drink • Evening meal at the hotel

  13. SKI INSTRUCTION • One instructor per ten students • 2 / 4 hours instruction per day • Free ski to practice in the afternoon days 4 & 5 • Students will be divided according to their ability • Ski certs presented at end of trip • Variety of slopes to cater for all

  14. Evening Activities • Tubing • Bowling • Torchlight evening • Swimming Pool. Sauna, Steam Room etc • Half-day trip to Verona 3 hours to shop or look around.

  15. Safety on the slopes • While skiing or snowboarding it is your responsibility to be able to stop • Make sure that your ski/snowboarding equipment fits and works • Never ski in an area that you have not been given permission to • Always ski or move in groups of three, never alone

  17. Saturday 22nd Feb • Rise 8am • Breakfast and check out from hotel • Coach journey to Milan airport depart 12.00 noon • Check in for flight home • Arrivederci Italia • Flight EI 2437 arrives Terminal 2 at 21.50
