  1. Using the Excel Template with Fluke OptiviewProtocol Expert

What is it? • Fluke/Finisar has provided an excel template to facilitate reporting when logging is enabled. • It is crucial to remember that logging will only count packets. • If you require to capture all the packets, you must refer to your capture buffer and ensure that you do not overrun it.

  3. Step 1 – Enable Logging & Start 1 2 3

  4. Step 2 – Open the Template • If you go to the following directory you will find CHARTS.XLT. Open it. • If you go to the following directory you will find NDIS_1.CSV. Open it.

  5. Step 3 – Go To NDIS_1.csv 7 Select All • Click on the Select All button, or press Ctrl+A • Then press Ctrl+C or go to Edit->Copy

  6. Step 3 – Paste • Paste the contents into the Charts1.XLT, under the Data Sheet tab. Admire your handy work!!
