Telephony 2500 telephone services ISDN circuits Lines between Contact Centres Monitoring call minutes Local Area Network Management Maintaining: 4500 workstations 650 switches 35 wireless access points Perimeter Security Secure public and remote access Firewall protection systems Web and email filtering Internet caching service

Peterborough 10Gbps Connections Cambridge Papworth CPSN Core Network • A three PoP pan-Cambridgeshire DWDM core, housed in VMB secure sites and connected by VMB fibre • A Dedicated 10Gbps Core network with the ability to scale to 400Gbps) • A Layer 3 network supporting multiple partners and shared services • A 2-2-4 and PSN compliant network with the ability to support higher impact level traffic where required • Building on the existing architecture • Went live on 15th February 2012

Migration continues – over 100 sites now on CPSN Partnership contracts – all partners have now placed their orders with VMB 9th April– formal contract commencement Pick and Mix is open– County Council LAN management now with VMB under CPSN. Telephony services and tariffs live ‘Infrastructure Related Services’ – live for web caching/filtering and email filtering Service Management – CPSN Service Desk and the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Latest update

Migration continues – partner implementations Publicity – official press launch in May Governance – Boards, networks, stakeholder approaches all evolving Continuous Improvement – focus beyond implementation towards benefits realisation New services – VMB product ‘roadmap’ New partners – all public sector organisations in Cambridgeshire were listed on the OJEU PSN Compliance – CoCos The future
