Key PrinciplesThere are Eight Ideas* Guiding Every Session * From the Academic Skills Achievement Program of CSUMB Keep in Mind • Our goal is to improve writers, not individual pieces of writing. • We respect and encourage writers to take responsibility for choices at all levels in their text. • We model problem-solving for writers. We readily admit when we do not know the answer to someone’s question and help them find answers for themselves.

  9. Drop In or Sign up for an Appointment • Find us in LI 120, (the library building) off the courtyard and next to the Tutoring Center • Call us at (408) 848-4811 Open Mon.-Wed. 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Thurs. 8 a.m. 8 p.m. (closed Thurs. 2-4 p.m.) Friday 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
