8. Green Technology for Carbon Dioxide Reduction Implementing energy saving and carbon dioxide reduction has always been the constant goal of HiTi in environmental protection. In addition to complying with RoHS standards for the material and components in producing printer, the production of consumables is also engaged in by altering manufacturing technology of conventional dye sub media to achieve the constant goal. Through revolutionary innovation of manufacturing photo paper (G2 Paper), the carbon dioxide emissions generated during the production in terms of 4x6 size is less than 3‰ of previous process.With a production of 1 billion 4x6 photo papers per year, the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions from new paper production technology is close to the volume from 9.9 Daan Forest Parks.

9. Green Technology for Carbon Dioxide Reduction In addition to the process changes of dye sub photo paper, production adjustments were also made to the ribbon. The G1.5 ribbon manufacturing technology incorporates the backcoat process into the BOPET film. Alone with G2 paper manufacturing process, it is expected that the CO2 emission in the course of production will be reduced more than 2.5 times compared with conventional G1 process being used by the U.S and Japan companies. With a yearly production of 1 billion 4x6 dye sub media, the reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from new manufacturing technology is close to the volume from 13 Daan Forest Parks.

10. Solar Energy Since 2016, HiTi Digital Inc has begun to set up solar panels for green power. By the mid of 2018, we’ve totally set up 4,972 pieces of solar panels, covering an area of 8,107 sqm, with a total installed capacity 1498.130 KWp that generate power 3,828,800 kWh, equivalent to 2442.7 tons of CO2e reduction, close to the volume from 6.28 Daan Forest Parks. 1 kWh is equivalent to 0.638 kgCO2e
