Sobre ASTM International en General • Fue establecida en 1898, y es una de las mayores organizaciones del mundo que desarrolla normas aplicables a materiales, productos, sistemas y servicios. • Aproximadamente 165 empleados • ASTM desarrolla, publica, y distribuye estándares voluntarios y por consenso para materiales, productos, sistemas y servicios para aproximadamente 100 sectores del mercado • ASTM publica 12,000 estándares anualmente tanto en forma impresa como en forma electrónica Los miembros de ASTM representan a productores, usuarios, consumidores, el gobierno y el mundo académico de más de 100 países.
