  5. About Zero Waste Scotland We exist to create a society where resources are valued and nothing is wasted. Our goal is to help Scotland realise the economic, environmental and social benefits of making best use of the world’s limited natural resources.

  6. Setting our sights We’re funded to support delivery of the Scottish Government’s circular economy strategy, Making Things Last. We receive additional funding to support the EU’s 2020 growth strategy.

  7. Why? Our work is becoming ever more critical against a global backdrop of: • climate change • rising population • unprecedented pressure on the world’s land, water, energy and raw materials.
