  3. 甚麼是性別平等 • 性別平等是兩性教育中極為重要的概念之一，所謂「性別平等」，就是「性別」（gender）和「平等」（equity／fairness）的組成， 「性別」除了一般社會大眾對人體生理結構差異的認知外（如：男性、女性的性別特徵不同），還包括性傾向不同者（如：同性戀者）和社會生活及文化層面上約定俗成的性別概念（例如：「女主內、男主外」「男兒有淚不輕彈」等）。
