It will take at least 4 attempts to upload a full RFX response successfully. So, either upload individual sections as you finish them or allow enough time before the event closes to fix any upload issues.

  7. 1 Download all attachment for review. Store in working folder.

  8. 2 Download Content (entire RFX text) and save to working directory. Refer to downloaded files as required for response.

  9. Save to working folder, then Open for editing/preparation

  10. # of tabs = # sections online

  12. Identify and Avoid the “Problem” questions: • Complex Multiple Choice • Attachments • Tables

  13. Find “Comments” by cell (generally cell level explanations required in the Price tab) SAVE the worksheet

  14. Begin to answer questions. Leave blanks as necessary.

  16. Congratulations. Click OK to finish upload.

  17. Open the online event to confirm your upload. Answer “tough” questions.

  18. See the Answer Type column for help on how to respond. This will Fail.

  19. Row 4 – Excel has a header row that Ariba ignores. So check the NEXT ROW (#5). Sheet 2 Requirements is the TAB to look on What Ariba didn’t like (Yes or No would be valid boolean answers) Make yourself read the Notice!!!!!!
