electric field line rules
Electric Field Line Rules:
  • Lines start on + charges and end on – charges.
  • As lines get closer, fields get stronger.
  • Arrows point in direction of force on a positive test charge.
  • Force is tangent to field lines.
  • Field lines CAN’T cross.
