  13. Quotes and reviews Family Guy Review: Parents need to know that this series is very funny; the quirky, scenarios can induce giggles or even guffaws in grown-ups. But this show isn't meant to be watched by kids or young teens. Unpredictable is the name of the game in the town of Quahog, Rhode Island, where the Griffin family spends most of its time watching television and getting into trouble. The dog, Brian, and the infant, Stewie, are the most intelligent members of the family -- which might ring some bells in terms of inappropriate role modeling right away. • I hate family guy because it’s stupid and not really funny- Katie Sassak • That 70’s Show Review • That 70’s Show is one of the better new sitcoms on TV, yet it took me more then half a year to tune in– and all because of the stupid name. To me, the show sounded like a half hour advertisement for bellbottoms and butt rocks, not something I needed to see,, after 4 years of college social events, too many of which were “70’s Nights”. The truth is, “That 70’s Show” is as much about the seventies as Family Ties was about the eighties- which is to say, a lot- but in ways that are more subtle and clever than its title would lead you to expect. – by Fred Kovey • That 70s show, it was the only show that could make me laugh out loud even when I was by myself- Joe Schulte • King of Queens Review: • The King of Queens is funny, extremely sarcastic, and still fresh, but not appropriate for children. Older kids interested in a family comedy might like a more traditional format like According To Jim and Everybody Loves Raymond. King of Queens is my all time favorite because Kevin James (Doug Heffernan) is hilarious and not to mention his wife Carrie is hot.- Michael Connolly Cites: http://www.commonsensemedia.org/tv-reviews/Family-Guy.html http://www.commonsensemedia.org/tv-reviews/King-Queens.html • http://www.popmatters.com/tv/reviews/t/that-70s-show.htm
