  1. Up next:Title of your proposed app

  2. Title of your proposed app Your name Your school/year Your email Based on: [indicate if this is an extention/improvement of someone else’s idea or a new idea] Problem solved? Answer here …

  3. Slide 1 (change title) • You have 6 content slides (16s each) to convey the awesomeness of your idea • Suggested structure: • 1 problem slide • 1 new opportunity slides • 3 solution slides • 1 challenges to overcome slide • Do not reuse any material from the prior slides even if you are extending one of those ideas.

  4. Slide 2 (change title) • Images are better than words • If you want to show mock views, rough sketches are fine (and actually preferred) • If you do use sketches, make sure they are large and readable from the back of the classroom • Be specific about why this idea will break out from the crowd

  5. Slide 3 (change title) • You need to practice your presentation ahead of time and read the fine print: (just because this is only 3 slides doesn’t mean this is easy to do well ... It’s actually quite hard to do a good pitch like this. The good ones will stand out.) • This time presentations are long enough so that if you want to quickly get to the front of the room during the “up next” and “title” slides you can do so. Otherwise, present in place. • Do not change the slide formatting or timing in any way

  6. Slide 4 (change title) • You definitely have enough time to provide some detail on the app’s interaction, so think through it carefully. • Step us through the key interaction.

  7. Slide 5 (change title) • More detail

  8. Slide 6 (change title) • On this slide you might consider listing the top design challenge and the top technical challenge for this idea
