  1. WP2: Retrieval of equatorial plasma mass densities by magnetometer arrays and cross-calibration Workplan for 2011 a) Selection of instrument components for the new stations, or for upgrading the existing stations: magnetometers, data loggers. b) Purchase of istrumentation: - 3 magnetometers for IGPAS, 2 for ELGI, 2 for HMO, 1 for UNIVAQ; - data loggers, products for data analysis, archiving. c) Installation of new EMMA nodes (2nd half of 2011) : IGPAS: 3 stations (2 in Poland, 1 in north of Latvia/south of Lithuania) ELGI: possibly, 1 installation in Slovakia.

WP2: Retrieval of equatorial plasma mass densities by magnetometer arrays and cross-calibration Workplan for 2011 • d) Upgrade of existing stations (especially for providing the real time access of the data): IGPAS, ELGI, UNIVAQ, HMO. • e) Work for the development of the software for the automatic detection of FLRs : UNIVAQ, ELGI, IGPAS, HMO. • It has to be completed at the end of the 2nd year. • f) Work for the development of the method for deducing plasma mass densities from FLR frequencies: • UNIVAQ, ELGI, IGPAS, NMT ? • It has to be completed at the end of the 2nd year.
