Exploring String Instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, and Harp

DESCRIPTION

Discover the fascinating world of string instruments including the violin, viola, cello, double bass, and harp. Each instrument has unique characteristics, pitch ranges, and playing techniques. The violin, known for its highest notes, uses treble clef, while the viola offers a mellower sound with alto clef. The cello and double bass provide rich, low pitches using bass clef. The harp, with its 47 strings, is plucked rather than bowed and features pedals to alter pitch. Dive into how musicians manipulate pitch and sound through string tension and finger positioning.
