TheActionPlanisdesignedtoboosteconomic activityandjobcreation,supporttherecovery,andaddressnear-termriskstotheoutlook,whilestrengtheningthefoundationsforstrong,sustainableandbalancedgrowththroughambitiousandwell-targetedreforms. Wewillacttogetherandimplementallourcommitmentsinatimelymannerandrigorouslymonitorthisprocess. Ourimmediatefocusisoncreatingtheconditionstoincreasegrowthandemploymentwithtimelyactionsthatbuildonthesignsofarecoveryin advancedeconomiestomakeitdurabletothebenefitofthewholeglobaleconomy. In thisrespect,theeuroareacommitstostrengthenthefoundationsforeconomicandmonetaryunion,includingthroughfurthereffortsto strengthenbankbalancesheets,reducefinancialfragmentationandmovingaheaddecisivelyandwithoutdelaytowardabankingunion. AdvancedG20countriesagree tomaintainaflexibleapproachinimplementingtheirfiscalstrategies,whileremainingcommittedtosustainablepublicfinances. Facingincreasedfinancialvolatility,emergingmarketsagreetotakethenecessaryactionstosupportgrowthandmaintainstability,includingeffortsto improvefundamentals,increaseresiliencetoexternalshocksandstrengthenfinancialsystems. Monetarypolicywillcontinuetobedirectedtowardsdomesticpricestabilityandsupportingtheeconomicrecoveryaccordingto therespectivemandatesofcentralbanks. We recognizethesupportthathasbeenprovided totheglobaleconomyinrecentyearsfromaccommodativemonetarypolicies,includingunconventionalmonetarypolicies. Wewillcontinue tomonitorfinancialmarketconditionscarefully. Wecommit tocooperate to ensurethatpoliciesimplementedtosupportdomesticgrowthalsosupportglobalgrowthandfinancialstabilityand to managetheirspilloverson othercountries. Wereiterateourcommitmentstomovemorerapidlytowardmoremarket-determinedexchangeratesystemsandexchangerateflexibilitytoreflectunderlyingfundamentals,andavoidpersistentexchangeratemisalignments. In thecontextofourefforts topromoteinvestmentinenergyinfrastructure,notablyin clean,affordableandsustainableenergy,andinorder to engageallinterestedparties,weencourageinterestedregulatorstocontinuetheirdialogueandasktheESWGtotakenoteofthisdialogue. Manycountriesaretryingto improvetheirenergymixanduse,suchasbypromotingrenewableand/ornuclearenergy. Nuclearpowerisalow-carbonoption,butitis capitalintensiveandcomeswithresponsibilitiesfornuclearsafety,securityandsafeguards/nonproliferation. G20countries,whethernascentorestablishednuclearpowerproducersshouldstriveforthehighestpossiblelevelofnuclearsafety,tofosterrobustnuclearsafetyandnuclearsecurityculturesand,ascalledforintheInternationalAtomicEnergyAgency(IAEA)ActionPlanonNuclearSafety,weencourage multilateralcooperation towardsachievingaglobalnuclearliabilityregime.
