Does the agency have any literature (brochures, rack cards, etc.) explaining the services they provide?     How does the agency hire and train its staff?   Do staff have to undergo background checks, drug screenings etc.?   What credentials or licensure do staff need to have? Does the agency include the client and his or her family members in developing the client’s care plan?  Are they consulted when care plan changes are needed?   Are all visits documented, detailing the specific tasks performed by each caregiver?  Does the client and family have access to visit summaries and care notes?   Does the agency assign a supervisor to oversee the quality of care clients’ are receiving?  How often does the supervisor check in with clients?     Who can the client or family contact with questions or concerns? What are the agency's financial procedures?  Are invoices due upon receipt? What forms of payment are accepted?
