  5. Vocabulary: Respiration- the breakdown of sugar from food to provide energy for an organism.

  6. Task: Step 1- Gather materials. -water bottle -1 balloon -yeast -sugar packet

  7. Step 2- Put the yeast in the water bottle. Step 3- Pour in the whole packet of sugar.

  8. Step 4- Wait for the warm water Step 5 Place balloon over water bottle Step 6- Observe what happens Step 7- Write what is happening in your journal.
