  2. Materials • Arthropod exoskeleton • Hot glue gun • Scrap fabric, yarn, etc. • Markers • Heavy weight paper • Index card • IMAGINATION!

  3. Directions • Create a backdrop for your arthropod. Use markers to decorate the backdrop. • Personify an arthropod, such as an insect, crab or spider by creating a life-like statue from its exoskeleton. • Attach the arthropod to the backdrop. • Create a classification card for the arthropod and paste it to the back of the backdrop.

  4. Rubric • Timeliness: 10 points • Content: 30 points • Design: 30 points • Format/Mechanics: 30 points Due Date Monday, May 12th
