  1. MUSIC Ivan Lazić

  2. INTRODUCTION • My name is Ivan Lazić. I come from Osijek in Croatia • I go to the music school “Franjo Kuhač” also in Osijek • I play clarinet four years

  3. Something about the music school “Franjo Kuhač” • The school is very old • It´s located in the old town Tvrđa • It´s elementary and high school • You can learn to play many instrumetns like piano, clarinet, flute, bassoon, violin, trumpet, guitar, accordeon, oboe, cello, horn, drums, harp, etc. • Also you can learn solo singing, choir singing, dancing, ballet, solfeggio, theory and history of music, etc.

About me • I’m playing clarinet and singing in choir • My teachers are Mirko Hrženjak and Valerija Fischbach • Last year I was on the competition for clarinet in Samobor, I won the second prize in my category and on the choir competition in Primošten we won the first prize in Croatia • This year I was on the seminar for clarinet in Virovitica (Virovitica Internacional Music Meeting VIMM) • Teachers on the seminar were: Nicholas Cox (England), Radovan Cavallin (Spain) and Davor Reba (Croatia) • After seminar was competition and I won first prize in my category • This year I was in Požega whit my choir, where we won first prize in two categories

  5. How I began to play clarinet • I liked music from my early childhood. • When I decided to go in music school, I need to go on audition. When I passed the audition, I need to decide witch of the instruments I would like to play. I listen all of the instruments and I decided to play clarinet, it has beautiful and soft sound. When I taked it in my hands I was amazed. • Since then I play clarinet already four years • I want to finish music academy and become professional musician
