  4. Assume the recommended clock position for the treatment area. Step 1: Assume Clock Position

  5. Grasp mirror Place the mirror head in a “Frisbee-position” between the dental arches. Step 2: Grasp and Place Mirror

  6. Turn mirror until it is parallel to the buccal mucosa of cheek Establish extraoral finger rest Use arm muscles to retract cheek 3. Turn, Rest, and Retract
