This study explores the socioeconomic and political factors influencing corruption levels across countries in 2011. The research hypothesis suggests that higher economic development, educational attainment, and political freedom are associated with lower corruption. Data from over 172 countries were analyzed, showing a significant positive correlation between GDP per capita, literacy rate, and political development with lower corruption levels. The findings support the hypothesis, indicating that improving living standards, enhancing education, and promoting political rights can help combat corruption globally.
