Case Study:Block Armour helped the subsidiary of a Fortune 500 Oil and Gas firm to enable secure remote access to on-prem as well as SaaS applications Situation With the government announced nationwide lockdown in place to control the transmission of Covid-19, the client - a leading player in the Oil and Gas distribution sector - had to enable remote access for all the employees swiftly. Challenge The customer had a combination of On-Prem and SaaS solutions and only certain approval workflows of the SAAS application were needed to be accessed in a secure and authenticated manner. Additionally, access from home computers of several users was required to be allowed in a secure manner. Solution Block Armour rapidly deployed its Remote Access solution to allow the employees to securely and efficiently access the company’s on-prem and Could based systems from home. Maximum security was enforced although users were accessing corporate applications through their home computer.
