Firstpeoplehavetogetusedtointernetbanking andthentheyhavefearsabouthavingtheir financialsinthecloudandit’ssecurity, thenthe lovetheefficiencysomuchtheytaketheleapof faithofmovingtoXeroorQBO. Oncetheyhave donethat, theyrealisethatthereareaddonsor appstohelpmaketheirbusinessevenmore efficientandtheystarttousethose. Nowmany oftheseadvisorshadonlyjuststartedusing QBO, buttheyknewalreadythattobe successfulwithQBOasanadvisortheyalso hadtounderstandtheapps. STEP THREE Get Accredited by your Buyer’s specialist EDI team  YouneedtohaveyourEDI provider/software, contactthe Accreditation/Certificationteamofyour buyer. Forexample, Targetwillhaveateam dedicatedtoapprovingnewsuppliersand theirsoftwareconnections. Ifitdoesn’t work, thenTarget’sorderswon’tgettoyou andthingswillgosouthforyournew relationshipveryquickly. Onceyouhave beenaccreditedaftergoingthroughquite arigoroustestingprocess, youcanstart tradingviatheEDIwithyourbuyer. Depending on the buyer and your EDI provider, EDI testing and accreditation can take from 2 weeks to 5 months. Sometimes the EDI connection doesn’t exist yet and your provider needs to build it working with the buyer’s EDI team. This can take some time. The accreditation process should not be rushed!
