  1. Hadimba Temple Hadimba temple, also known as Dhungari Temple Hidimba temple is situated in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Dedicated in Bhima’s wife, Hidimbi Devi, the structure was built by Maharaja Bahadur Singh in 1553. Surrounded by Dhungiri Van Vihar at the foothills of the Himalayas, the temple is built on a huge rock, impending from the ground. This rock was worshipped as the deity. Amongst all the best places to visit in Manali, Hadimba temple is one place that is worth taking a tour of. The temple is located around a cave which was Hidimba’s meditation spot. She is and beautiful worshipped during the Navaratri by the people in Manali. Though queues are noticed outside the temple, it increases during Navaratri.More than the tale associated with it, what excites people are its designs. It has carved wooden doors and a wooden “shikhar” which is 24 meters tall. The tower has three timber tiles roofs and a cone-shaped brass roof on the top. The door carvings themes are based on Durga. Besides, foliate designs, animals, dancers, Lord Krishna’s life scenes and Navagrahas are also depicted on the main door carvings. Creative Museum Of Himachal Culture And Folk Art A four-minute walk from the Hadimba temple, Creative Museum Of Himachal Culture And Folk Art that shows the rich culture and heritage of Himachal Pradesh. Important items that are displayed here are ornaments, hubble bubble, old houses and forts, earthen pots, kulluvi kitchen, traditional dresses and housing style, musical instruments and wooden masks.This museum in Manali is one of the tourist’s major attractions, and it has been treasuring a lot of artefacts since 1990. Beautiful Tibetan Monasteries Due to numerous Tibetan people settling in the parts of Kullu and Manali area, Best and beautiful Tibetan Monasteries are built and have become one of the most popular places in the hill station. Three important monasteries in Manali are Aleo, Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa and Himalayan Nyingamapa Temple. Nestled near the Mall, the Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa is run by locals, gathering money through beautiful donations. What makes this monastery unique is that Tibetan artistry handicrafts and carpets are woven and sold here. Constructed in 1969, the design represents the Tibetan style architecture with coloured frescoes and a statue of Lord Buddha inside the monastery. The Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa is located near the market place in Manali. Its architecture replicates a contemporary design, not similar to the previous one. Surrounded by sunflowers, the monastery glows during the night due to the light bulbs which lights up the structure. A gold- faced bronze statue of Lord Buddha is present. Enchanting Manu Temple Dedicated to sage Manu, Best Manu Temple is located in the beautiful valley of Manali, Himachal Pradesh. The temple is situated in the Beas River Valley, Kullu District, 275 km of North Shimla. Trekkers from all around the world are drawn to this place because of its alluring topography features. Tourists who want to explore the spirituality of the place and seek peace often travel to this temple.Tourists are sure to discover the calmness around the temple. The presence of the Beas River further adds attraction to this place. Breathe in the fresh air and revel in the lush greenery around.
