Biosecurity is a mindset or philosophy, an approach to animal husbandry with focus on maintaining or improving health status and preventing the introduction of new pathogens. 生物安全是一种理念或态度，一项以保持并改善畜群健康水平为重点、防止引入新病源的举措。 That mindset ultimately manifests itself as tangible items.   16. How should you monitor the health of the boar stud? 应该如何监控公猪站的健康状况? • Take and record the temperature of each boar before collection. 39.5oC or 40.0oC • Record all boars not eating. There may be problem if the number increases. • Semen evaluations • Blood work, monitoring • PCR testing. Can you receive laboratory results before semen is used? 采精前检查每头公猪体温并记录 记录所有不采食的公猪 如果不采食公猪的数量增加则可能有潜在问题存在 精液质量评估 血清学检测和监测 PCR检测，精液使用前是否收到可靠的实验室检测结果？

  17. Do you have a contingency plan?(a back-up plan if something fails) • If the health status of the boar stud suddenly changes, will the GTC inform the sow herd? • Will the sow herd have another source of semen readily available? 你有应急预案吗？ (对突发事件的后备计划) 如果公猪站的健康情况突然改变，猪场是否会收到GTC的通知？ 猪场是否还有其他精液来源？
