  1. Trekking Accessories to Carry During Annapurna Circuit Trek and Trek Briefs Trekking the Annapurna Circuit is one of the most joyful memory, you could make. It is a life changing experience. Various cultures, topography and ecosystem - All together, it is a perfect combination of diverse aspects. In Nepal, trekking starts from a lower altitude in moderate temperature, and it is a gradual climb to a higher altitude and colder temperature. While planning the Annapurna Circuit Trek, you need to pack very carefully because too much or too little can spoil your trek completely. The number of items depends on how long and till how much time you will be spending on the trek. Trekking essentials to carry during Annapurna Circuit trek are discussed below: •Travelling Bag: You need to bring a travelling bag which must be waterproof and long-lasting. It should have a zipping system or lock too. A rucksack is the only choice because carrying trolley or duffel bags makes climbing a very tough job. Inside the bag, you need to carry your essentials like camera, wallet, water bottles, snacks, hat, sunscreen, etc. besides the articles of clothing. •Clothing: You need to take extra cloth because you may find a wide variation in altitude & temperature that time you need to wear an extra layer of fabrics. If you are planning to trek in winter, then you need warmer cloth. You can carry thermals, waterproof jacket, undergarments, and much more. Layering is the best trick to keep yourself warm. Gloves, Beanies and monkey caps alongside mufflers will protect your extremities and face from frost bites. •Footwear: It is better to purchase moisture-wicking socks over regular socks. These socks will be breathable and proficient at keeping your feet dry. You must choose thick warm wool hiking socks. The shoes are the most critical essentials of any mountain treks. Instead of the regular slip on or wedges or canvas shoes, it is a must to opt for all weather hiking boots or something similar. High quality, robust, and anti-slip shoes make climbing safer and less burdensome. •Handwear: For maintaining the temperature, you must wear light-weight gloves, made of fleece material. This will keep the temperature moderate for your hands. Depending on the temperature you can change your gloves. Carrying heat packs also helps in keeping the fingers warm and preventing the numbing of the tips. •Headwear: While doing Annapurna Trek for the winter you must wear a woolen hat. When sun sets and temperature decreases, you need warmth that time you need to maintain your head temperature and need a proper cap. Beanies with ear guards or Monkey cap are the best choice for trekking as they keep you warm and prevent frosting

  2. •Sleeping Accessories: In mountain, you will get to experience extreme cold where for sleeping the night you need a blanket, and sometime this also will be not enough so better to carry duck/goose-down sleeping bag. Special sub-zero thermal sleeping bags with electric heating are also a great choice. A sleeping bag with 2-way zipper is the best for this time. For getting good sleep, you can get the inflatable pillow. •First Aid Kit: It is better to carry these essential yet most forgotten accessories for any medical emergency on the route. Alongside the regular generic medicine for cough, cold, pain, gastritis and fever do not forget to add a few band-aids, gauge, and disinfectant solution too. •Water bottle: To save yourself from altitude sickness, you must drink a lot of water. This also will help you keep yourself hydrated. If you are planning to buy on the route the Everest Base Camp, it will either be very costly or unavailable when you need it the most. So, it is best to carry a bottle of your own that you can refill at various spots when required. These days, water bottles also have an additional filtration system pre-installed inside. Buying them is a great choice. Besides the travel insurance and permit papers, these accessories are sufficient enough for your Annapurna Base camp trek.
