  1. Photography tips for the people planning to capture the beauty of Annapurna Circuit Trek When you decide to get close to nature, there is no dearth of natural beauty and you get rewarded in the most unusual ways…with breathtaking panoramas, picturesque waterfalls and incredible landscapes. The same holds true for the Annapurna Trek in Nepal. The panoramic trail is a blessing in disguise for photography enthusiasts. Here are a few tips that will help you get some postcard-worthy pictures on the popular Annapurna Circuit. Photography Tips for Annapurna Circuit Trek The Right Timing Any good photographer will know the importance of light in photography and thus, the importance of the right time to get the perfect lighting conditions. Here are a few tips to get them right: The sunrise and the sunset at the Annapurna Circuit will give you perfect light conditions for some incredible shots. So wake up early to plan your shots during sunrise and wait for that perfect moment of sunset. Since the weather is quite unpredictable up on the hills, it is advisable to be updated about the same by either asking the locals or by relying on certain apps that help to decide the right time to take some shots. Such apps have detailed information about the different phases of sun and moon and the time of sunrise and sunset. While the shots taken during sunrise, sunset and at night are amazingly beautiful, do not underestimate the ones that are taken during the daytime in the harsh light of the sun. The Right Locations There can be no perfect list of locations that are just ideal to be captured because there are several factors that will influence the final click of a photographer such as the weather, time of the day, light, etc. But here are a few locations you must not miss while on the Annapurna Trek. Right at the beginning of the trek, one can find several waterfalls set perfectly against green landscapes, mostly between Syange and Dharapani. Do not miss the grand sight of Manaslu in Dharapani which also happens to be the first high mountain peak you will witness on the Annapurna Circuit.

  2. If you wish to click some of the best shots of Annapurna II, you have to visit the Upper Pisang. Ghyaru is a beautiful, lively, small village on the Annapurna trek, if shooting the locals and their lifestyle is on your list, there cannot be a better location than this. Besides you can also get some incredible shots of the enormous panorama of Annapurna II and III here. Even though the trail to the Tilicho Lake is considered to be a side trip, there is no excuse that is good enough to miss this incredible site for photography enthusiasts. The Right Gear Remember to carry the bare minimum and versatile stuff since all of it will add to your luggage. There is no point carrying too many lenses while on the trek since it is not feasible to change the lenses too often. Also, the gear needs special attention and protection. You should consider adding a tripod, and a polarizing filter to your gear, they help in getting better and colorful results. Always carry extra batteries. Though the above tips are essential, we cannot overlook the most common ones — take enough rest during nights, eat the right meals, at the right times and most certainly stay fit because all of these are going to contribute to a healthier and a happier you and a better photographer… happy clicking!
