  2. Least Common Multiple (LCM) • The common multiple between two or more numbers that is less than all the other common multiples. • Find the LCM of 9 and 12. • 9: 9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72 • 12: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72 • Common multiples: 36, 72 • The LCM is 36

  4. Find the LCM • Find the LCM of 3 and 5. • 3: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 • 5: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 • Common factors are 15 and 30 • LCM = 15
