  4. Characters • The main character in fairy tales often have supernatural powers and can do all sorts of extraordinary things like magic. • Royalty usually plays an important part in the story. • There are talking animals in many fairy tales.

  5. Conflict • The conflict in a fairy tale is Good versus Evil. • Good ALWAYS wins!

  6. Settings • Fairy Tales can take place anywhere at any time.

  7. Fairy Tales always end with: …and they all lived happily ever after!

  8. Examples of Fairy Tales • Sleeping Beauty • The Three Little Pigs • Cinderella • Hansel and Gretel • Jack and the Beanstalk • Little Red Riding Hood
