    1. Journal Reflection:August 15th, 2011Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 What do you think it means to be “alive in Christ”? Do you think you have ever had a taste of that sort of life here on earth? *Today is the solemnity of the Assumption of Mary. This means she was taken into heaven, body and soul. Write a little to our mama, Mary, asking her to be with you today. Write your response in your Religion composition journal. One paragraph minimum. 

    2. Journal Reflection:August 16th, 2011Scripture: Matthew 19:23-26 Why do you think Jesus says that being rich makes it hard to enter the kingdom? What can God do for you that you can’t do for yourself? Write your response in your journal. One paragraph minimum. 

    3. Journal Reflection:August 17th, 2011Scripture: Matthew 20:1-15 Why doesn’t Jesus want us to be envious? What happens to us when we become envious?
