  3. Project Design • Watch both films • Take daily quizzes about the film • Complete Movie Graphic Organizer • Construct 7 Paragraph Essay

  4. Project Materials • Introduction PPT • Movie Graphic Organizer • 7th Grade Science Standards • 7 Paragraph Essay Outline

  5. Project Grades 5 Quizzes (Formative) • 20pts each • = 100 pts Movie Graphic Organizer (Formative) • = 100 pts 7 Paragraph Essay (Summative) • = 100 pts

  6. 7 Paragraph Essay • Introduction • Standard S7L1 • Standard S7L2 • Standard S7L3 • Standard S7L4 • Standard S7L5 • Conclusion

  7. Paragraph 1: Introduction • Begin your essay by introducing the purpose/goal of the essay • Prepare the reader for the information you plan to present in the following paragraphs.

  8. Paragraph 2-6 • Summarize the detailsof the standard • Summarize the detailsof the moveclips • Explain clearly and distinctly how the movieclipsconnect to the standard.

  9. Paragraph 7: Conclusion • Close your essay by demonstrating to the reader that you accomplished what you said you would do in the introduction. • Remember: A conclusion is the opposite of the introduction. The introduction begins general and ends specific; whereas the conclusion begins specific and moves to the general.
