  2. Variable Being Tested Our group decided to test the variable space.

  3. Control and Experimental Groups Control: One spaced plant Experiment: One crowded plant Our control plant will be one spaced plant. The seeds will be spaced out to grow. Our experimental plant will be crowded together. The seeds we plant in this one will be all on top of each other.

  4. Our Hypothesis If we plant 20 grass seeds all on top of each other then the plants will get tangled shrivel up and die.

  5. Observations 2-15-12:On the first day our control plant was lime green and healthy. 2-24-12:On the last day our control plant was still green and healthy. 2-15-12:On the first day our experimental plant was green and healthy. 2-24-12:On the last day our experimental plant was green and still healthy but crowded.

  8. Conclusion Statement From this experiment, we learned that a crowded plant will grow but after a while it will stay the same measurement. The same was for our control plant ,when it hit 18 cm it stopped growing.

  9. Hypothesis Statement Our hypothesis was wrong because we said the crowded plant would shrivel up tangle and die, and it didn’t.

  10. Future Experiments Tips: A crowded plant will grow just like a regular plant. Future Experiment: Water a plant in pickle juice.
