  2. Let’s find out what kind of book you’re looking for… Do you like stories about animals? Looking for a spooky tale? How about a book about people from around the world? Friendship and school is a topic that is always cool! For more information on finding other books click here.

  3. It’s WILD out there! Whether you are looking to learn about animals living in jungles to those that are living in your own backyard, there are tons of books to choose from. Here are some you might like: • Abel’s Island by William Steig– Read the story of a Victorian mouse that becomes stranded on an island. • Beautiful Blackbird by Ashley Bryan - A Zambian tale about how the birds of Africa have a contest to decide which is the most beautiful. • The Hoboken Chicken Emergency – A boy’s pet chicken runs amok in downtown New Jersey!

  4. Are you Scared Yet? Books can be frightfully fun! These suggestions should really keep you on the edge of your toes: • Golden and Grey by Louise Arnold – Explore the tale of a boy that befriends a ghost. • Precious and the Boo Hag – A young girl is confronted by a spirit that tries to trick her. • Night of the Living Gerbil by Elizabeth Levy – Can a gerbil come back from the dead?
