  1. Gestalt Principle in Logo Design Proximity Principle If a series of lines are placed together, we perceive a wholesome design formed by the lines. Example - IBM logo - the horizontal lines create the structures of I, B, and M. Similarity Principle Objects that are similar in shape, colour, orientation, and shade tend to be grouped together. Example - MOCA logo - the triangle is perceived to be the alphabet A. Closure Principle Logo design capitalizes on the ability of human brain to find a structure in a gap. Example - FedEx logo - the arrow created by the negative space inside FedEx logo. Continuity Principle Distinct elements that are aligned with each other are visually connected. Example - Coca Cola logo - Our eyes follow from C to A without any break. Multi-Stability Principle The ability of our eyes to comprehend two different things simultaneously Example - Spartan Golf Club logo - we see a Spartan helmet and a golfer’s swing at once in the design www.webguru-india.com
