  11. Summary: • MOBY broke from its mooring and followed a cyclonic eddy • during three days before its recovery. Satellite SST and Chl • data are applied to the analysis. • 2. Using hindcasting mode, ROMS can statistically reproduce • the eddy detected. • Next Step: • A high-resolution MM5/WRF product is applied to provide the • surface flux • Forecasting Pacific model (JPL) provides the BC to improve • the boundary flux.
