Local MRC Deployment Process Volunteers Needed • Volunteer Request, with approval signature of health director or ESF 8 rep, is sent to MRC and Emergency Coordinators • Request Reviewed • Questions are submitted for clarification MRC Level 1, 2 & 3 Volunteers Alert volunteers using groups, roles and levels Deployed to the POD, shelter, clinic, staging site, etc. Deactivation alert with deployment survey Deployment is tracked in VVHS

Regional Deployment Process More Volunteers Needed • Volunteer Request is sent from ESF 8 / LHD Director to other ESF 8 / Directors in the region • Request Approved by receiver • Request and approval for support is communicate to MRC and emergency coordinators State Volunteer Coordinator or Regional Emergency Coordinator Notified Coordination Call held by regional or state coordinator (if needed) to review request, qualification requirements, event training, coordination support, alert messages and logistics Regional event and group established in VVHS Send alert message Deploy volunteers Document deployment in Regional Event Deactivation alert with deployment survey Regional Coordination
