  2. Update from Open Meeting • At the February 22 Open Meeting, the PUCT Commissioners expressed their gratitude for all the hard work of the task force • Instructed not to move forward with manual solution • Wanted a long term, infrastructure-based solution using AMI

  3. Revised Scope • The Demand Response Task Force (DRTF) will build a short term solution that allows for the limited deployment of retail Demand Response programs and their settlement by the summer of 2008. • The short term solution should inform the development of a long term solution for offering Demand Response programs to the market.

  4. Goals • Deliver requirements for “Bridge Solution” by Feb 2008 • Provide recommendations for long term solution

  5. Next Steps • DRTF believes it has completed its current scope • Seeking a recommendation to sunset
