  1. Huppin's Signs Contract with Warrantech Warrantech Consumer Product Services, Inc. (WCPS), a leading independent provider of service contracts and after-market warranties, announced that a new agreement has been signed with Huppin’s/One Call, a premier home electronics store and e-retailer based in Spokane, Wash. A member of the PRO-Group merchandising and marketing organization, Huppin’s/One Call started offering the Warrantech-backed service contracts on November 1. Huppin’s/One Call is the latest retailer to join Warrantech expanding client roster. With the largest selection of in-stock name brand electronic products in the region, Huppin’s specializes in selling a variety of electronic merchandise including flat panel televisions, cameras, audio equipment as well as installation of custom home theater systems to customers in eastern Washington and throughout northern Idaho. The company also markets nationwide through One Call, a popular electronics retailing Internet site. Matching prices with other retailers, having knowledgeable staff available to answer technical product questions, and providing fast, courteous service, helped One Call achieve the Best Consumer Direct Dealer rating by Twice Magazine in 2008. In addition, One Call has also received recognition and positive reviews from Internet Retailer, BizRate, Price Grabber, Amazon, Reseller Ratings, Shopping.com and the Better Business Bureau Online.

  2. Considering the level of service Huppin’s/One Call customers have come to expect, Warrantech created a customized private label service contract designed to provide full coverage for next generation home electronics. This new program, operating under the Huppin’s/One Call name, allows customers the option of ensuring the ongoing reliability of their product purchase throughout the term of their new extended service plan. “Helping dealers like Huppin’s provide the highest level of customer service is the key to Warrantech success,” said Joel San Antonio, CEO and president of Warrantech Corporation, the parent company of WCPS. “Our programs enable dealers to generate additional revenue through the sale of extended coverage plans while ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable, top-rated service.” “For more than 55 years, Huppin’s has been providing competitively priced home electronics to customers throughout the northwest, and the advent of the internet enabled us to expand our business nationwide,” said Murray Huppin, owner and president of Huppin’s/One Call. “Our reputation depends on providing our customers with products that perform reliably, while insuring that they won’t have to worry with the cost of expensive repair bills should a component malfunction or break. With close to three decades of experience as the nation’s leading independent warranty provider, we are confident that the protection of a Warrantech service contract is the best extended coverage that Huppin’s/One Call customers can buy.”

  3. “During the past 12 months, more than 1,500 new dealers have signed up to sell the company’s customized extended service plans,” noted San Antonio. “In addition to independent dealers such as Huppin’s, Warrantech continues to expand market penetration through key partnerships with some of the country’s largest buying groups which include PRO-Group, Nationwide Marketing Group, America’s Hometown Brand Center, Brand Source, MARTA, and ICE.” About Warrantech: Warrantech Home Service Company, a division of Warrantech Consumer Product Services, Inc. started in 1990, offers one of the most comprehensive home warranty products in the United States.
