  3. We collected 120 questionnaires. We distributed questionnaires evenly between both male and female, however males were more reluctant to answer our questions which meant the response from females was much greater.

  5. What Do You Think? What Percentage Of People Do You Think Admit to Speeding? How Many People do you think die from speeding per year?

  6. The Facts - SPEEDING The research we conducted showed that the majority of people we asked agreed that driving above the speed limit is risky. The majority of both males and females understood and agreed that driving above the speed limit is risky. 46% of males and 63% of females strongly agreed that speeding is risky.

  7. This graph shows that the majority of people we asked agreed with the statement: ‘Driving above the speed limit is irresponsible’ 58% of females and 77% of males strongly agreed that driving above the speed limit is irresponsible.

  8. What Do You Think? Do you think your reaction time is effected more through driving under the influence of alcohol or using your mobile phone whilst driving?

  9. The Facts - Texting The pie charts show people’s views on the statement : ‘Driving whilst texting makes crashing more likely’ 52% of females and 54% of males strongly agreed that driving whilst texting makes crashing more likely.

  10. ‘Texting Whilst Driving Is Irresponsible’ 44% of females and 77% of males strongly agreed that texting whilst driving is irresponsible.

  11. What Do You Think? How Many Lives Do You Think Could be Saved Per Year if Everyone Wore a Seatbelt? In a Crash at 30MPH, If you are in the Back Seat without a Seatbelt, you will hit the front seat and anyone in it, with how much force?

  12. The Facts - Seatbelts This Graph shows the number of people both male and female who agreed or disagreed with the statement: ‘Not Wearing a Seatbelt is Risky’. 71% of females and 85% of males strongly agreed that not wearing a seatbelt is risky.

  13. Possible Reasons Why People May Not Wear a Seatbelt! These are the results we got from the two probable reasons as to why people may not wear seatbelts. Not Wearing a Seatbelt is Exciting Not Wearing a Seatbelt is More Comfortable 63% of females and 77% of males strongly disagree that not wearing a seatbelt is exciting. 21% of females and 23% of males strongly disagree that not wearing a seatbelt is more comfortable and 19% of females and 8% of males strongly agreed.

  16. What Do You Think? How many times more likely are you to cause an accident under the influence of alcohol than other drivers? How Many People on Average do you think die per year from drink driving?

The Facts - Drink Driving The Results below show how many people either agree or disagree with the statements: ‘One Drink Will Affect My Ability to Drive’. ‘Driving After One Alcoholic Drink is Risky’ 19% of females and 16% of males strongly agree that one drink will affect their ability to drive and 6% of females and 17% of males strongly disagreed. 27% of females and 25% of males strongly agreed that driving after one alcoholic drink is risky and 8% of females and 8% of males strongly disagreed.

  18. These Results show how many people agree or disagree with the statement: ‘Driving After Drinking A Few Alcoholic Drinks is Exciting’ 50% of females and 92% of males strongly disagreed that driving after a few alcoholic drinks is exciting.
